I provide a full portable appliance testing service, including all labelling and asset recording of those items tested. I have considerable experience of PAT testing and hold the necessary accreditation for this work. Charges are based on a 'cost per item' basis rather than a daily rate, thus allowing you to know your true costs in advance rather than having any concern over how long the job will take. The more items are to be tested in the same location, the more I can provide a discount for bulk testing. I am happy to provide a free quote over the telephone for PAT testing. If I undertake your initial PAT testing regime I will also recommend a re-testing schedule to enable you to fulfil your obligations under the Provision And Use Of Work Equipment Regulations 1998. You are under no obligation to re-test at any specific date, or to use my services again, providing you can satisfy the regulations which require you to provide safe equipment for your employees. In practice however only PAT testing provides the confirmation of safe equipment which any other visual test cannot.
