After a memorial service
at the crash site, the UK visitors were all invited to be the guests
of honour at a special reception at Middelfart's Town Hall, hosted
by Mayor Steen Dahlstrøm. He gave a warm and heartfelt welcome to
us all, in both English and Danish. There then followed all manner
of interviews, television filming, (drinking), and meeting various
people associated with the 4th May committee, many of whom I have
been in contact with while building this web site. It was nice to
finally meet those people in person instead of by email.
