Here are the photo's of my father's return to Gals Klint Forest, near Middelfart Denmark, and the crash-site of W7531; he was first there at 02.10am on the morning of 18 May 1942. He had not been back for over 50 years until May 2002.

After a memorial service at the crash site, the UK visitors were all invited to be the guests of honour at a special reception at Middelfart's Town Hall, hosted by Mayor Steen Dahlstrøm. He gave a warm and heartfelt welcome to us all, in both English and Danish. There then followed all manner of interviews, television filming, (drinking), and meeting various people associated with the 4th May committee, many of whom I have been in contact with while building this web site. It was nice to finally meet those people in person instead of by email.
