Once again on 4th May
the Danish people celebrated the liberation of their country from the German army. As usual as part of that celebration they came to Gals Klint to
remember the airmen of the MacRobert's
Reply who on 18 May 1942 gave their lives in support of the Danish cause.
Below are some of the
scenes from the 2006 memorial.
Once again I owe a deep debt of gratitude to a good friend of this site, Lisbeth Behrendt,
for taking these photo's and allowing me to use them. As ever this
site owes so much to her commitment to the memory of
this event, and the people of Denmark for keeping faith with the crew after so many long years.
