Myself, and the other 2010 team members, all need to
raise a minimum of £3500 to take part in the event.
The costs of the trip; the hire of the huskies, sleds,
guide, doctor, insurance. flights, etc, etc all come
to about £2500, so by raising the required minimum
we guarantee at least £1000 to the Scott Polar
Research Institute for whom we are undertaking this
venture.
There will be huge photo opportunities for participating
(hopefully East Anglian) companies who sponsor us.All
photos taken by me for my sponsors are in high-resolution
and completely royalty-free at the end of the trip,
so you can use for any publicity you wish. Here is an
example of one of my 2006 shots taken for a major sponsor
at their request high in the arctic.
